.The Paint Your Mind t-shirt is a lesson in simplicity and vibrant design that on first glance doesn’t seem to be saying too much but the more it is looked at and examined, the more hidden depths appear to be coming from the t-shirt. Almost like the water flowing from a tap in the design, the ideas behind the t-shirt builds and creates the impression of something dripping away from the source. A tap is a common metaphor used in the art world but its inclusion here works well on a few levels.
Whether the t-shirt is meant to imply anything about mental health or stability is unclear but the uncertainty and murky mix of the green suggest that not all is well with the world and that the way the fluid cascades down could possibly be a metaphor for further messages. The use of color in the design is at the forefront and although there is water and there is color this t-shirt is definitely no watercolor, it harks at a more difficult and troubled examination than anything that would originate from that style of art.

Tying the two themes together, there are many artists who have displayed a history of mental illness and it is clear that there is a thin correlation between artistic genius and madness and it has been often said that the truly great show signs and characteristics of both from time to time. The dark and swirling greens that bleed and mix into each other also brings to mind a chaotic and unpredictable display that implies a sense of confusion or lack of clarity about its wearer and there is clearly a lot of twists and turns to this t-shirt that will have everyone coming up with their own theories over what it all means.
At its most basic level, this t-shirt is a stylish and vibrant image that is almost minimalist in its approach but there are also other deeper depths to the logo and imagery that is sure to make any wearer the centre of attention whenever they wear it.
